Sameek Kundu is a software engineer and game developer who has been building with Unreal Engine since its early days. He founded Athian Games to focus on high-end story-based games and the practical tools that make ambitious Unreal Engine projects easier to build.
His current focus blends story-first game projects with a growing catalogue of Unreal Engine plugins, shaders, VFX, and MetaHuman packs. These systems are built for real production needs, then refined and packaged so other developers can pick them up and run.
Sameek cares about the details that make a world feel alive: lighting and weather, cinematic moments, characters you remember, and gameplay systems that hold up under real use. His work spans C++ and Blueprints, procedural generation, and real-time rendering.
He's also a clear communicator and a practical problem-solver, happy digging into a tricky technical challenge and just as happy helping other developers get unstuck with the tools he builds.
